AperoFun is the story of a first product imagined in the head of the start-up’s CEO: a floating bar for enjoying aperitifs with friends in the pool. The company was barely a few months old when it found itself thrust into TV by chance. ApéroFun called on Virginie GRAZIANI to prepare for this first TV appearance, which would certainly not be its last!.
Presenting your product on TV
“Initially, my TV appearance had nothing to do with my company or the Aperofun products. However, on the eve of the recording, production called me and asked me to provide an anecdote to entertain the audience once they were on set.
A little taken by surprise, I contacted Virginie, who had previously spoken to me about her expertise and coaching for TV interviews. That same afternoon, we highlighted the incredible story behind the birth of the Aperofun idea.
Thanks to her expertise in global communications, Virginie gave me all the elements I needed to envisage a serene and productive TV appearance. The show’s production team liked the anecdote so much that it was the presenter himself who did all the promotion for my products, the floating bars.
Virginie followed all this from a distance, as she couldn’t accompany me to the show. However, she was right there with me the whole morning of the shoot. After preparing everything the day before, we also debriefed after the TV show.
We analyzed my body language and my speech, and worked on further optimizing the way I was perceived at the time. The aim: to prepare myself for the next stage of the Aperofun adventure, which will certainly take me back on a TV set!

APEROFUN brings fun to the pool
With its original platters, the start-up expanded a few months ago. The adventure was born of a desire to bring friends and family together around fun, convivial events.
While inflatable floating bars suffer from a limited lifespan, AperoFun has developed durable, designer products made in FRANCE. This is because the raw materials used for our products are European. Similarly, all stages from design to production are carried out in France.
Genuine service trays for pools and spas, AperoFun products are made from a technical foam generally used in aeronautics, luxury packaging and even in the manufacture of certain toys for their long-lasting properties.
In fact, AperoFun’s raw material is rot-proof, non-abrasive, anti-slip, and shock and UV resistant. Floating bars have it all:
- Longevity, not just for a full day or a week, but for seasons and even years.
- Stability, so you can use stemware (vs. tumblers) and have a flat surface on which to place mignardises, for example.
- Rigidity, so you can go from the kitchen to the pool with all the perfect aperitif paraphernalia on the tray without risking catastrophe.
